Rockstar Games cannot sway the people despite releasing the "Grand Theft Auto V's" expanded and enhanced editions, as fans still ask for the "GTA VI" sequel to be released instead of this. It has been almost eight full years since the action role-playing game's (RPG) initial release, and after its success in both the game's story and online feature, fans want a new game.
"Grand Theft Auto" or "GTA" is one of the most recognizable games in the world and has been one of the top choices of gamers to go on an alternate reality where they act out in society and only get "Busted." Rockstar Games' take on the sandbox game has gained popularity over the years, especially as it focused on "GTA Online" and its elaborative missions to help one grow in Liberty City.
A lot of reports have already featured a variety of things to do in "GTA V's" fictional Liberty City (which resembles California) and was a hit for gamers to emulate or top with their mileage in the game. However, as Rockstar recently announced "big things" to come this summer, people are expecting the game's sequel and nothing else.

'GTA VI' Explodes in Social Media Despite 'GTA V's' Expanded and Enhanced Edition
The recent announcement of Rockstar Games regarding "GTA V's" expanded and enhanced editions for the latest gaming consoles of Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series S and X is coming this summer. It also includes the arrival of "Red Dead Redemption Online" to the new consoles, hopeful that it would usher in a new era of gaming for fans.
However, as much as Rockstar Games' efforts were appreciated to keep the "GTA" fire running despite the new consoles, those were not the public's wants for the game's development. Why? It is because of the highly-anticipated sequel of the "Grand Theft Auto" gaming series with "GTA VI," which remains unconfirmed and avoided by the studio.
The public has diverted the attention from "GTA V's" release on the new consoles and made it so that people talked about "GTA VI" instead, hoping it would get Rockstar's attention. People have been crying out for the game's sequel, especially as it nears its 8th year with only "GTA V" to enjoy in the game's modern plot.
'GTA VI' Rumors: Is It Coming?
Right now, there is no telling if Rockstar Games is indeed under development or in production of the sequel for the "GTA" series, but a handful of map leaks and speculations point out to its existence. Moreover, these leaks suggest that it would center on Vice City, the fictional place which resembles Miami, Florida, and centering on Latin American heritage.
