'Battlefield 6' is Coming for PS4, Xbox One Later This Year and Not Just for PC and Modern Consoles like PS5, Xbox Series X

Electronic Arts (EA) have spoken, and players need not worry about "Battlefield 6," as it would also come for the older gaming consoles of PS4 and Xbox One later this year, and not limited to the modern ones. While the release date for the popular action-adventure first-person game remains unknown, details of its reveal trailer are set for June.

Instead of a sad day for those who will not upgrade their consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the next-generation ones like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, they are met with a massive update from EA. The popular action-shooter game of the "Battlefield" franchise is still making the game accessible and available to all.

There were only limited games that opted for a next-gen console exclusive release, and "Battlefield 6" from EA and DICE were supposed to be one of them, as it was rumored last April. Several leaks have also made their way to social media and mainstream releases, showing the new look that the game would take once it arrives for public release.

'Battlefield 6' for PS4, Xbox One Also Coming Says EA

According to the recent revelations by EA alongside its Q1 2021 earnings report, the company mentioned that modern-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are perfect for capturing the game's graphics. And it may seem like "Battlefield 6" is looking at an exclusive release, but is far from that.

CEO Andrew Wilson said that the game would look great while playing on any gaming console present to the world today, and has only given the emphasis on the PS5 and Xbox Series X to highlight its compatibility. In the financial call for the company's future among its board and investors, the company has shown incredible growth over the past year, primarily because of Apex Legends.

The "Battlefield" series has not released a new game or sequel to its latest "Battlefield 5" title since 2018, making it almost a three-year wait for gamers and fans of the popular action shooter series. Tom Henderson's recent tweet that confirms the legitimacy of the leaked gameplay screenshots of "Battlefield 6" sets the ground that suggests the game is coming soon.

Trailer Reveal for 'Battlefield 6' Coming in June

Apart from the exclusivity news, screenshot leaks, and Battle Royale mode speculations for "Battlefield 6," the game is also hinting at a confirmed trailer reveal for the sequel to release by June. Hopefully, this trailer reveal would also bring any information behind the game's plot and release date, which is most awaited by the fans of the series.

June is coming in a few weeks, and the trailer reveal is drawing near for the excited fans and enthusiasts for "Battlefield 6" which has been one of the most talked-about shooter games that await its sequel.
