The new Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens has been officially announced. This new camera accessory is specifically designed for Sony E bodies and L-Mount DLSRs.
If you are a professional photographer, you'll know that Sigma lenses are mostly used to replace the shorter lenses of Nikon, Canon, and other popular DSLR brands. The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens, which was previously released at Photokina back on September 17, 2012, is one of the well-known DSLR lenses.
Now, Sigma confirmed the new Sigma 35mm f/1.4 model.
This new camera lens version is expected to have more advanced features compared to its predecessor. To give you more idea, here are its new features and other details.
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens' Details
According to Digital Camera World's latest report, the new Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is expected to be shipped on May 15. But, Sigma only confirmed that it will start in the United States. Although this is the case, the camera lens manufacturer could release it to other markets after its first shipment.
On the other hand, the new Sigma camera accessory is expected to cost around $900.
"The existing 35mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art was Sigma's first Global Vision lens. Released in 2012, it set the standard for all of Sigma's subsequent Art-line lenses," said Sigma. "Nine years on, the 35mm F1.4 has been redesigned from the ground up specifically for mirrorless cameras."

When it comes to features, Sigma claims that the new DSLR lens has improved autofocus, a new customizable button, and a de-clickable aperture.
Aside from this, the new Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN DSLR camera accessory offers two Special Low Dispersion (SLD), an F Low Dispersion (FLD) element, Extraordinary Low Dispersion (ELD) element, as well as two aspherical elements.
On the other hand, Sigma explained that the new lens minimizes all types of aberration, such as axial chromatic type.
Is It Better Than Its Predecessor?
Because of its advanced features, such as its enhanced autofocus, the new Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is way better than the previous Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art.
