iOS 14.6 is Up for Beta Testing: New Things to Know and How to Sign up

The public beta test is now available for iOS 14.6, the newest operating system of Apple. Along with its arrival, we could also explore the first-ever developer beta for the WatchOS 7.5 Beta 1 and iPadOS 14.6.

Even though the iOS 14.5 is not yet officially launched in public, its successor version will be debuting this week for its beta edition. Those are two big operating systems that are being tested simultaneously.

For those who usually fidget public and developer beta software, we have good news for you. For those who want to sign up for the beta test, here are some things that you should know.

According to a recent report of 9to5Mac on Friday, Apr.23, Apple now opens the iOS 14.6 beta 1 test for the developers. Through the Settings, we could see a wireless update to access this testing.

Like the previous iOS beta updates, we cannot immediately find the software for a while.

Before downloading and scrutinizing it for more updates, it will take a few some time before it reaches the beta developers. For the current release, the build number will be 18F5046f.

What's fascinating besides the appearance of iOS 14.6 Beta 1 is the addition of the different beta tests for various smart devices.

This time around, the developers could also examine iPad OS 14.6 Beta 1, tvOS 14.6, and the watchOS 7.5 Beta 1 for Apple HomePod and television. Since this is only for trial, no one still knows the in-depth capabilities of iOS 14.6.

However, it is most likely that it will potentially present a new set of wonders for the Apple Podcasts app. These features will be headed for the Apple Podcasts Subscriptions.

We are expecting that more software updates will be introduced to iOS 14.6. Regardless if you are either running it or the iOS 14.5, you can go to the Software Update page to see the new "also available" option at the bottom for more changes.

Updates on the Release Candidate Software

For those familiar with the beta software (developer and beta), there is a refreshing revelation that is waiting for you.

There is no need to delete your beta profile if you want to update your iOS or iPadOS device. Through the most recent software, you can now accomplish it to its most up-to-date Release Candidate software.

After updating to a more modernized Release Candidate, the developers can now select if they want to completely uninstall their beta profile or to upgrade it to test the next beta, Slash Gear reported.

Do not forget that once you remove your profile, it will also pull out your device from using the early-access program.
