The much-awaited "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Warzone" update and the Season Two Reloaded patch has finally arrived, bringing various new maps and exciting new adjustments to the game.

The Season Two Reloaded patch includes balance changes, new multiplayer maps, new Zombies areas, as well as enhancements that allow players to reduce the game's overall file size on their respective platforms.

'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' and 'Warzone' File Size Reduction Update

Players who own the full version of "Modern Warfare" and "Warzone" and those who own the free-to-play "Warzone" game will significantly benefit from the Season Two Reloaded's file reduction patch.

To reduce the player's overall file size footprint, enhancements were applied to the general content management system through data optimization and streamlining content packs required for individual game modes.

The said optimization comes with a "larger than usual," one-time update for Season Two Reloaded, allowing for future patch sizes for "Modern Warfare" and "Warzone" to come with smaller file sizes.

According to Engadget's report on Tuesday, Mar. 30, the overall file size across all platforms of "Warzone" has been reduced by more than 30GB, while "Modern Warfare's" has been reduced by 10GB.

Owners of the full "Modern Warfare" will now be able to remove individual modes that are no longer played and will see more space freed on their platform.

Players must note that those who chose to continue playing Campaign, Multiplayer, and Special Ops will need the optimized Content Packs reinstalled.

The optimized Content Packs will be released shortly after the Season Two Reloaded update.

'Season Two Reloaded Contents': New Multiplayer Maps, Modes, and Features

Polygon reported on Mar. 29 that the Season Two Reloaded patch offers various multiplayer maps, including one that can accommodate up to 40 people.

Firstly, the patch introduces a Strike variant of the Miami map called Miami Strike.

Taking place during the day, Miami Strike added some new cars to the main road that changes the landscape a little bit and fixed some of the original map's annoying visual issues.

The update also introduces players to a new region for the Zombies Outbreak map called the Sanatorium.

Sanatorium, which takes place entirely at night, offers new intel for players to find, a new secret objective, as well as a new dirt bike vehicle.

Lastly, Season Two Reloaded patch brings back the Multi-Team Launch map called Golova, which first appeared as an exclusive locale within Outbreak.

Golova also includes a new version of Hardpoint, allowing 40 people to participate and capture the point.

The experience is expected to be very different from "Black Ops Cold War's" other modes.

"Call of Duty's" Official Blog also mentions of in-season updates such as the Gunsmith Customs and Gunfight Tournaments, and launch updates such as new operators and weapons.
