Google Assistant will soon be more useful than ever, thanks to its upcoming Memory feature. The giant tech firm's latest update is expected to turn its Assistant service into an Android organizer.
According to Yahoo Finance's latest report, Google's upcoming update allows you to store your files in the new Memory feature. The users can do this using Google Assistant's verbal feature. On the other hand, you can also access this function using your device's home screen shortcut.
The files that you can store include music, notes, photos, places, playlists, products, hotels, images, contacts, books, articles, and more. Aside from these, you can also save screenshots, URLs, location data, and other information.
Google Assistant Memory's features
BGR explained that Google developed the latest Memory feature because it wants the Assistant to take advantage of the smartphone form factor. It wants this service to be more than just a voice app that works without requiring any sort of screen interaction or interface.

How to use the new Memory feature
If you want to use the new Memory feature, the first thing you need to do is access your Google Assistant's voice command. Once you have decided on the files that will be saved in the upcoming feature, it will show all your items in a reversed chronological order. After that, Google will organize your files into cards. These are specifically the Older and Today Memories files.
On the other hand, reminder notes will be saved in the Assistant Memory. This means that Google Assistant will continue supporting reminders as of the moment. Aside from this, you can also set location-related and repeating reminders.
