There's nothing more infuriating than delays that the developers have promised since 2018. For example, "Dying Light 2" was initially revealed nearly three years ago.
It's Too Early for 'Dying Light 2' to be Announced
The following year, "Dying Light 2" was teased to be launched but it did not happen. The community has been craving for a long update that should have happened soon, but according to the game developers, their lead writer has left.
Furthermore, the management was also reported to undergo an unexplainable "disaster."
The Polish video game studio, Techland is now preparing to meet their players' expectations about the game's launch. It shared a short clip of "Dying Light" Volatile, hoping that this could satisfy the players for the meantime.
One of the game's developers of "Dying Light 2" revealed that it was 'too early to be announced but they will not stick to becoming a 'dev hell,' as one of the commenters said in a tweet."
"The previous news worries me a lot, I'm still kinda shocked this game feels like dev hell. I hope it's not another cyberpunk like a good game but broken and lots of missing promises. They only have one goal: create a better story and expand everything else. Gimme good news," a Twitter user said prior the game developers' response, Eurogamer reported.
Moreover, the update will not lead to an "Early Access" of the game. By any means, there will be no cancelation that will happen this time, according to the developers.

Judging from the trailer, "Dying Light 2" will be an exciting adventure for the players. PC Gamer reported that the trailer of the game features a vast introduction of a new storyline . This includes various changes that depend on your choices in the game.
Meanwhile, if you are a fan of parkour, you will definitely love it as is two times more thrilling than the original. Aiden, as you will see in the game's demo, is continuously escaping through the walls. You can now use him to escape using different parkour skills.
Moreover, the setting of the game also becomes much more interactive and larger, allowing you to transfer from one place to another through different modes of transportation. It has been set to modern day with a tint of dark age.
Furthermore, "Dying Light 2" will not suddenly end up in its 20-hour story mode. You haven't discovered yet about its full content that could take you for 100 hours of gameplay.
In addition, Techland has revealed a DLC for "Dying Light" last year, and we are expecting the same treatment this time around. It does not matter if it takes another year for a new content since players have been waiting for this moment for three years already.
"We don't think of Dying Light-Hellraid as the final DLC and we plan to continue our support for Dying Light." former Techland senior PR manager Ola Sondej said.
