Techland Games' previous 2015 FPS action survival game known as the "Dying Light" still continues with downloadable content (DLC). This is done along with new events with the Valve's "Left 4 Dead 2" being the core focus as of the moment.
'Left 4 Dead 2' and 'Dying Light' crossover event brings a new zest to the game
The said "Left 4 Dead 2" crossover event, according to the creator of the "Dying Light" themselves, it offers just a small twist to its popular "Viral Rush" mode. This will mean that players will be able to still go face to face with an endless number of hoards of zombies. Players can now set them on fire with the use of an incendiary ammo for the shotgun.
The event is said to have already taken place and will end this coming Thursday on October 29 at exactly 2PM ET. The whole event, however, will only be available for those who are playing through the PC, and can easily be accessed and turned off using the options menu.
How to unlock Bill and play the free DLC
All that needs to be done is play the PC version in order to automatically get the free DLC that eventually turns the player's character into Bill, one of the central survivors coming from the original game "Left 4 Dead".
Players can then proceed to whack zombies along with the known two-handed melee weapon known as the Gnome Chompski, which is a garden gnome that initially appeared back in "Half-Life 2: Episode Two" and then also "Left 4 Dead 2".
The free DLC that is currently available on PC will reportedly be available for other consoles including Xbox One and PlayStation 4 just a few weeks later. This means that for players not on the PC, all that needs to be done is to wait for the free DLC.

Support of DLCs has helped the 'Dying Light' survive through the years
According to Twinfinite, the "Dying Light" game has still been supported by the use of free as well as paid DLCs. This happened after the sequel was supposedly delayed indefinitely according to what they said at the start of this year 2020.
Meanwhile, the known "Left 4 Dead 2" already received another free update some time last month that actually added a brand new campaign, weapons, and also a little more for the previous 2009 game.
"Left 4 Dead" has been one of the most popular games in the past bringing FPS games to a whole new level through the use of a really popular theme at that time, zombies. Now, people may think that zombies are overrated due to the influx of different zombie materials from movies, games, and series, but back then, zombies used to be the biggest thing ever.
