Hit RPG game "Genshin Impact" has decided to announce the upcoming weapon banner it would be releasing two days before it would be launched to the public, but while there are no words on the upcoming character banner, many are hoping for Hu Tao to be launched finally.
New 'Genshin Impact' Weapon Banner
According to Sportskeeda, the next weapon banner is known as The Epitome Invocation banner, which will feature a five-star polearm called the Staff of Homa as well as another five-star pull called Wolf's Gravestone, a type of claymore.
Along with the five-star weapons is a new series of four-star weapons called "Lithic."
Among the Lithic series are the Lithic Spear (polearm) and the Lithic Blade (claymore), which will be two new additions to the four-star weapons available on "Genshin Impact."
The new five-star weapon, Staff of Homa, would be a great pull for any players who are building characters with the HP Artifacts, while the Lithic Blade is a perfect choice for anyone with an all-Liyue party, while the Lithic Spear should have the same effect as the Lithic Blade if players plan on using Liyue characters only for their party.

Lithic Spear Explained
In a report by DualShockers, the Lithic Blade and the Lithic Spear both have ATK % as their base stat.
Specifically, the Lithic Spear will have a base ATK of 565 once it reaches level 90, while its ATK % innate stat would be at 27.6%, which is lower than the Lithic Blade but is common for all polearms available on "Genshin Impact" as polearm users tend to have more hits in their normal attacks compared to claymore users.
Moreover, the new four-star polearm weapon is also perfect for "Genshin Impact" fans that use Liyue characters more.
For every character from the region added to the party, the Lithic Spear will gain a 7% ATK increase and 3% Crit Rate increase, meaning it would become even more powerful with an all-Liyue party, with the polearm user counted, as it would get a maximum of 28% ATK increase and 12% Crit Rate increase.
The Epitome Invocation banner featuring Staff of Homa, Lithic Blade, and Lithic Spear will be available starting Feb. 23 at 6:00 p.m. until Mar. 16 at 3:00 p.m.
Alleged Hu Tao Banner Leak
Meanwhile, when it comes to the next character banner, "Genshin Impact" fans are more confident that Hu Tao will finally appear, especially with the appearance of the Staff of Homa, plus numerous leaks of Hu Tao's abilities, skills, weapons, constellations, and Artifact build have already been published online, which could only mean the character's imminent appearance.
Furthermore, an alleged "Genshin Impact" leak of Hu Tao's banner has circulated online.
The alleged "Genshin Impact" banner is called Discourse of the Departed, which will feature Hu Tao as the five-star pull and a few four-star characters that will go alongside her.
Nevertheless, the repetition of the four-star characters makes the alleged banner a little questionable, and until miHoYo makes the announcement, take the news with a grain of salt.
