The new Tweetbot 6 for iOS features the latest update and version of the Twitter client, offering the same interactive interface, but with an updated subscription service.

Users are enraged by the new subscription service because it would cost them extra fees in the succeeding years, as opposed to the previous setup of a one-time purchase.

The developers of Tweetbot 6 for iOS, "Tapbots," has issued a subscription service with its premium application, as opposed to the previous single purchase as a paid application in Apple's App Store. The company regarded that the new subscription service ensures that updating and development of the application would continuously appear.

Instead of the old setup of a single $4.99 purchase for the application, users would now have to pay $0.99 for its monthly fee, or an annual fee of $5.99. Starting with the updated policy, users would now have to pay for their yearly subscription for the application, or its services would be hindered or restricted to selected content that is selected by the application.

Tweetbot 5 users would still be able to use the old interface, but its previous version is not guaranteed for the latest features of Twitter. Downloading Tweetbot 6 would allow previous Tweetbot 5 owners to use the application but with limited content only.

Unlocking the full version means that users need to abide by the subscription service from Tapbots.
