We can spot a dad from a mile away. He's the guy wearing high socks with his shorts, sneakers that have been worn throughout the '90s and the dreaded fanny pack over his Levis. Luckily for for us, there is now a whole Instagram account devoted to the wonder we call "dad style."
Pretty much the complete opposite side of the spectrum from the dapper dads who take their kids to Disneyland, @FashionDads_ documents regular fathers posing like fashion and style bloggers while wearing what their children would call embarrassing choices of clothing.
And these dads couldn't be more lovable. The Instagram account already has over 60,000 followers, quickly becoming the must-see profile this week.
Fashion Dad was created by blogger Ashley Hesseltine and friend Travis May who wanted to poke fun at stuck-up style bloggers, while celebrating the outfit choices everyday dads decide to wear, no matter how questionable those fashion choices are.
"It's to showcase ridiculous dad fashion in a satirical fashion blogger style," Hesseltine says."We think everyone with a father can relate."
Common hashtags paired with the photos include: #BaeCaughtMePosing, #ManBoobs, #ThighGame and #SearsSpecial.
