Sony finally announced its first PS5 restock for this year 2021. The popular gaming gadgets is currently one of the hardest product to find.
Why? Because PlayStation 5 is usually out-of-stock because of its popularity. Almost everyone wants to get their hands on this cool console.
According to Hype Beast's latest report, the console manufacturer's announcement serves as the first real replenishment of the gadget ever since it was released. Sony Rewards' official Twitter account posted the confirmation.
"A limited number of PS5 consoles will be available tomorrow. Stay tuned & we'll let you know when they are live on the site. You might want to turn on post notifications," said the company via its Twitter account.
Where to get PS5
Although Sony didn't specify other details regarding the restock, it confirmed that the consoles will be available on Jan. 15. It also suggested that fans should turn on their notifications to get the latest updates.
On the other hand, Toms Guide reported that the Twitter account didn't mention if the PS5 restock event would be open to Sony Rewards members only. This means that there's a chance that you can get the console even if you are not a member.
It is advisable to always check the account's posts so that you won't get behind the latest updates.
How to get the console
Getting the PS5 from Sony is a piece of cake. All you need to do is click on the Sony Direct link. This will take you to the online queue. However, it is important to remember that you need to have a PSN account to make the purchase.
If you are new to this and want to create an account, all you need to do is click this link. It is also suggested that you include your current address when making the account, as well as your payment info. Doing this will expedite your order in the event you manage to get the console.
On the other hand, you have to wait for an hour to reach the queue's front. But, wait times always vary depending on the number of participants. Your status could also rapidly change. This means that one hour wait could also be less.
You must also remember that securing a spot on the queue doesn't mean that you will have a 100% chance of snagging in a PS5.
