Due to the pandemic happening back in 2020, most people might assume that the tech industry would actually slow down this 2021. However, it seems like the competition for the best Android smartphone is getting stronger and stronger. While the flagship phones have started rolling in for other companies like the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the Xiaomi is coming in hot with the Xiaomi Mi 11.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 started shipping to other buyers over in mainland China just about two days agom and even Hong Kong's top important shop known as Trinity Electronics has already been able to secure these units for sale in their city. The shop was also kind enough to loan a retail unit to XDA-Developers in order to make a list of the specs that buyers can expect.

Xiaomi Mi 11 specs reveal

  • Build - the build comes with a Metallic Mid-frame, a cornering Gorilla Glass Victus located on the front, and a glass back.

  • Dimensions and Weight - The Frosted Glass has the dimensions of 154.3 x 74.6 x 8.06 mm weighing about 196g. The Vegan Leather has the dimensions of 164.3 x 74.6 x 8.56mm and weighs in about 194g. Just 2g lighter than the Frosted Glass.

  • Display - the display comes with a 6.81 inch QHD+ AMOLED display, 420Hz touch response rate, 120Hz refresh rate, 515 ppi pixel density, 10-bit color, 1500 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Quad-curved, and Hole punch display.

  • SoC - the device comes in with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 that works on a 1x Kyro 680 Prime Core @ 2.84GHz, 4x Kyro 680 Efficiency Cores @ 1.8GHz, and a 3x Kyro 680 Performance Cores @ 2.4GHz. Also comes in with the Adreno 660

  • RAM and Storage - there are three different choices like the 8GB LPDDR5 + 128GB UFS 3.1, or an 8GB + 256GB, or finally a 12GB + 256GB.

  • Buying and Charging - comes with a pretty standard 4,600mAh, a 55W wired fast charging, another 50W wireless fast charging, and finally a 10W reverse wireless charging.

  • Security - the device has an already in-display Optical Fingerprint Sensor.

  • Rear Cameras Photo - the Primary Camera hosts a 108MP, f/1.85, 1/1/33* sensor, 1.6µm, and OIS. The Secondary Camera hosts a 13MP, 123° FoV, f/2.4, wide-angle sensor. The Tertiary hosts a 5MP, AF, f/2.4, macro.

  • Rear Cameras Video - both operate in 8K and HDR 10+.

  • Front Camera - hosts a 20MP, f/2.4

  • Ports - uses a basic USB Type C

  • Audio - has a Stereo Speaker that is tuned by Harman Kardon

  • Connectivity - hosts an NFC, an IR Blaster, and a Wi-Fi 6

  • Software - this goes with an MIUI 12.5 that is based on the Android 11

  • Other Features - this goes simultaneous audio sharing along with Bluetooth devices.
