While Razer previously released the new Razer Book 13 back in November, which is a new and portable laptop that is focused more on productivity as opposed to gaming, the Apple M1 Macs had also launched bacon in November as well. Here's a comparison with regards to the Razer Book 13 and the Apple M1 MacBook Pro from a story by MacRumors.

Size

When it comes to size, the Razer Book 13 comes at 13.4 inches while the Apple M1 MacBook Pro comes at 13.3 inches. However, it is reportedly a bit smaller only due to its bezel size.

Design

When it comes to the design, the Razer Book 13 might have a bit of an edge compared to the 13-inch MacBook Pro due to Razer's own thin sized bezels. There is reportedly a slightly thicker bezel to house the camera, but it still beats the Apple MacBook Pro.

Rumors, however, suggest that Apple is currently working on a brand new 14.1 inch MacBook Pro which could possibly have a much slimmer bezel design. As of the moment, Razer is reportedly winning when it comes to the design.

Display

There is a totally different display with the Razer Book due to it using a matte finish. The M1 MacBook Pro still looks good in its glossy display but coils till suffer under the sun.

Keyboard

When it comes to the keyboard, both of these laptops have very similar design. However, the Apple M1 MacBook Pro actually has its own Touch Bar and Razer Book will still have that RBG key that could be a distraction for some people.

Fan Cooling

When it comes to air cooling, the Razer Book automatically activates when the user does a number of activities like go on Microsoft Edge browser on the laptop's battery.

The Apple M1 MacBook Pro does not have any fans located at the bottom side so it's preferably better for in-lap use along with warm air venting out from the laptop's hinge area.

Port

Th ports for the Razer Book 13 might have a bit of an advantage as it has two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports, a USB-A port, a 3.5mm audio jack, an HDMI 2.0 port, and last but not least, a microSD slot.

The MacBook Pro, on the other hand, only has two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports as well as a 3.5mm audio jack, according to an article by TomsHardware.

Performance

When it comes to performance, the Apple M1 chip wins. Through a Geekbench test, it was found that the MacBook Pro had a score of 1734 in its single-core performance and a 7531 in its multi-core performance.

The Razer Book 13 was able to hit 1355 with its single core performance and 5290 for its multi-core performance. As for the OpenCL, the Apple M1 MacBook Pro had a score of 19412 while Razer only scored 14761.

Price

Buying the Razer Book 13 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage would cost consumers $1200 which is $100 cheaper than the Apple M1 MacBook Pro at the same specs but there are options for a more expensive laptop but with more memory according to another article by TomsHardware.
