Leaked ringtone
For each of its Galaxy series, Samsung re-imagines the well-known "Over The Horizon" ringtone that comes in their music libraries. This is intended for people to use as their ringtones or alarms. The new interpretation of the theme that is expected to be on the Samsung Galaxy S21 has been leaked online.
The ringtone was first leaked on the Korean site Naver. It was then shared from there by Twitter user @FrontTron to YouTube and the audio clip runs for three minutes and a half. Although it is best to take it with a grain of salt, given the similarities, it seems likely this is the Galaxy S21 version of "Over The Horizon."
The new version of the ringtone is a solo piano rendition of the theme, eschewing the more complex arrangements of the past, though it has a strong resemblance to the nature-inspired 2020 version. It is less upbeat than the previous one as it does not have the crescendos and builds of the previous version.
The core ringtone motif is still in there, with variations on it appearing later in the audio. This is the longest version of "Over The Horizon."
People who have heard the new version things that fewer users will choose the audio as their alarm or ringtone as it is not loud enough to wake you up, but it will still depend on your preference.
