"Stardew Valley" is looking at an exciting new mod that can change the game's landscape and make it a classic platform for all Studio Ghibli fans to unite and appreciate. One of the best "Stardew Valley" mods of 2020 comes with popular characters including everyone's favorite neighbor, "Totoro," along with the distinct critters that are mostly seen in classic animated films.
The mod was created by a user or group called "sopholophagus" and posted on Nexus Mod's website entitled "Ghibli Critters," and is the team's first "Stardew Valley" mod theme for the game. The developer notes that only the butterflies, seagulls, and the blue jay bird are not changed into Studio Ghibli characters, but would change in future updates.
Moreover, sopholophagus shared that the Ghibli Critters mod is the first mod to be developed by the creator or the team, so issues may arise from gameplay and would be normal. It would also be better if the developer received feedbacks or reports to know where to improve more.
"Stardew Valley's" Studio Ghibli mod already has a total of 692 downloads from the website and on its initial version, which would soon improve and bring more elements from the animation studio's favorite titles.
"Stardew Valley" shows top remarks from users as it portrays a 10 out of 10 Steam Rating, with a 4.7 Google Play and 4.8 App Store satisfactory scores. The game was initially released in 2016 for PC Windows only but was adapted to fit Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, and popular gaming consoles from PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo.
