"The BE-7 is a high-performance, additively manufactured liquid hydrogen/liquid oxygen lunar landing engine with 10,000 lb of thrust," he further explained.

He also stated that the National Team is also one of the three contenders that will provide the human landing system of the Artemis program. An Alabama-based Dynetics' industry team and SpaceX are also looking to have a spot.

However, there's no confirmation yet if Blue Origin will join the three candidates. NASA also hasn't released any updates yet regarding the selected teams that will move forward to the next phase of development.

The company's origin

Jeff Bezos proposed Blue Origin's first mission with the Boeing-built NASA Space Launch System (SLS) rocket for the year of 2020.

Although Amazon's CEO previously said in 2018 that his company may develop Blue Moon on its own, the partnership still took place.

And now he reveals how powerful Blue Origin's rocket would be once it is launched into space, thanks to the company's advanced rocket engine. Republic World reported that the Instagram video received around 530,000 views.

Many commentators were amazed by its performance, which looks like a weapon shooting laser beam and them transforming into a blue flame. Some of Jeff Bezos' followers even joked that they would love to have the engine in their Toyota.

One of the commentators even said that Jeff Bezos is the king and the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
