iPhone 12 debuted only almost a week ago yet Apple's latest flagship phone new owners are in for a challenge. Reports surfaced on the internet that the latest iPhone release is having a list of issues.
Missing SMS Text Messages
A Reddit update posted recently gained the attention of hundreds of followers from iOS users. The social media update talked about some problems that iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro users are facing.
According to the Reddit post, Apple's new customers reported dropped SMS group threads due to a major bug in the iPhone. The post added that the bug prevented users from receiving messages.

Reddit shows that the mentioned social media update was posted for only 24 hours now yet earned 170 comments already. Almost all of them had their own story to tell about the bug that the new iPhone 12 users face.
According to iPhone in Canada, the problem particularly points out the issue that users face in using the stock iMessage app. They claimed that they were not able to receive some messages sent by other members in a group chat.
Others complained that their messages did not send to the group chats as well. The users had to retype the entire message and try to send them again.
Others presume that the problem was due to the iOS and android mismatch on the group chat. However, the latest problems reported involved all iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro users.

Some reported that they faced the same problem since the iPhone 5 seasons. Yet the problem continued until the iOS 14 update wherein Apple customers are expecting that bugs such as mentioned will be addressed.
iOS 14 launched with a long list of innovations as well as bug fixes and improvements. However, the list does not include the solution to the missing SMS texts. What concerns iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro users more is the potential safety issue that the problem could bring.
More iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro concerns
Aside from the missing SMS messages, new iPhone owners are also facing other challenges on their new device. Some Apple customers complained about unauthorized calls and spam messages.
New iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro users reported receiving several text messages about insta-heaters and beauty products since they had their new iOS device. Some even received multiple phone calls from various numbers.
The calls were both election and non-election related. The point of their concern is that there was no way to mark the calls as spam and if they did, it will not do them good because the calls came from Robo-dialers that use different sets of phone numbers.
A part of the list of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro owner concerns was the way apps would appear on the screen. They complained that the apps appeared smaller at the center of the iOS device with large black borders on the side.
As of the moment, Apple did not issue any reaction or response to the mentioned customer concerns, according to Thurrott.
