"Silent Hill 4: The Room" is creating some noise in the game industry. It is considered as the most interesting in the "Silent Hill" franchise. But, why?
The game franchise is included in the earliest and most beloved ones, together with "Resident Evil." Its fourth installment is quite popular with horror game fans.
However, although it is the most interesting, it is not considered the best since it doesn't seem to receive the same level of respect as the other series acquired from the gamers.
Still, it is one of the most famous games of the PS2 era, especially since Halloween is right around the corner. Here are some reasons why "Silent Hill 4: The Room" is the most interesting game of the "Silent Hill" franchise.
'The Room' only revolves around one room
Based on the title itself, the game will take place in a single room, unlike the other versions, which revolve around the remote mountain town.
"Silent Hill 4: The Room" will focus on Henry Townshend's apartment. Once the players enter the game, they'll see that the main character is trapped in his apartment for the past five days.
To make this even scarier, the players won't have any means of communication with the outside world. It is not advisable for those who have a phobia with tight spaces or rooms.
The game's second part is also different from the other versions since it will be an escort mission. According to Tech Raptor's latest report, all these new and interesting addition are missing in other "Silent Hill" games. This way, the game can tell the story differently that is completely unique to the entire series.
'Stranger Things' inspired by 'Silent Hill'
According to SVFY Wire's latest report, "Silent Hill" was a hugely influential game that lead to several sequels and two feature movies. It also inspired some of the most popular movies currently.
"Stranger Things," one of the most famous Netflix series, was also heavily influenced by the game. Duffer Brothers, the series' creators, even acknowledged that "Silent Hill" was one of their major inspiration, together with Stephen King, and John Carpenter.
