As every Pokemon fans waited for the release of The Crown Tundra' downloadable content (DLC) Thursday midnight, Youtuber Jethrotex looked at all 10 of the new legendary Pokémon and ranked them in order to see who makes it out as the best new legendary Pokémon in the Sword and Shield Expansion.

The criteria he looked into include Pokémon's looks, capabilities, and descriptions. Below are a few notes from his video ranking all 10 legendary pokemon in Crown Tundra.

10. Shadow Rider Calyrex

Shadow Rider Calyrex takes the last spot as Jethrotex said the fusion form, doesn't feel' very fused'. According to the YouTuber, the idea of riding a ghost horse into battle and summoning spirits to fight against any opposition in its conquering quest for silence and solitude still look good. Unfortunately, it apears to be just one Pokémon that looks the same underneath another Pokémon, but with a cape.

9. Regieleki

Jethrotex sees the Pokemon's signature move fitting. The electrical tentacle arms seen in the newer Japanese crown tundra trailer is exciting. Pokemon trainers will be looking foward to encounter and capture it and see other vivid outward emotions it would like to showcase. The YouTuber, however, hoped to see more added to Regieleki, like a statue of an electric Pokémon in human form.

8. Calyrex Ice Rider

According to Jethrotex, the Calyrex Ice Rider form is a very hard Pokémon to place because the current salt is still 'marinating' with the fans about how it wasn't a half horse half rabbit like a Frankenstein Zoo that just opened up. He noted that he could rate Calyrex's look at 4.5 but that's mostly because of the majestic look of the perfectly sculptured ice horse and the little leash added onto it with the deadpan-looking rabbit on the back showing no emotions.

7. Galarian Articuno

Jethrotex appreciated how Niantic has decided to try and change with the new Galarian Articuno and make it a dignified psychic bird, including the laser eyebeams which were cool at first and went a little tepid over time. Unfortunately, he noted that it left its mark and was a change players want to see in regional forms, as opposed to a rabbit just riding on its back.

6. Galarian Moltres

After pondering about gigantamax Charizard on how it isn't actually that bad of a design including its many forms, Jethrotex said he realized the blistering flames and heated disposition does make it a great Pokémon, which works with how Galarian Moltres looks. Jethrotex sarcastically said that he can't even say if the blazing flame is a fire hazard.

"In a technical understanding of flames and hazard it could be considered one, but it looks to have so much control there's no way it could burn down my apartment... again."

Jethrotex though said that it's the mood given off from the calm grim looking Kanto Moltres to the silly, happy looking bird that's brought it up in the ranks and takes a higher spot than usual.

5. Calyrex

Jethrotex said that the rabbit did grow on him, where its idispleased demeanor and RBF somehow started to annoy him.

"The look of it funnily holding the leash around Glastrier's neck or staring into my soulon ghost horse does make it feel like a better Pokémon than just the original image andzoom in on its face that we started with," he said in the video.

4. Regidrago

The little paintball turning into a dragon head is probably the transformation for a form Pokémon players have been looking for shadow ice rider. Jethrotex said that while it is only an animation for it in battle, it does open the door for the possibility of future generations using this Regidrago to grow into something more.

3. Spectrier

Jethrotex said Spectrier does have that attitude of a legendary Pokémon and horses have been a pretty good subject to make for this classification. A ghost type horse Pokémon, he noted, just works really well and can make a wonderful backstory to be placed into the game about its creation.

2. Galarian Zapdos

"It's great to see a loved bird in a loved form that's well love in a loving manner," said Jethrotex while he commended how Niantic made Zapdos into a chocobo. He noted that it does the original Pokémon justice as Zapdos on its own was already a great Pokémon and seeing it turned into a different - on two feet Pokémon running and jumping all over the place at speeds that go over the limit on the highway - was a pleasure. He believes it will make it one of the Pokémon from this generation that will stick to mind.

1. Glastrier

Jethrotex said Glastrier is probably the greatest horse ever, which is definitely an upgraded Shadowfax. Glastrier can ravage into battle but with the grace and chill of 24/7 never breaking down airconditioning. Nonetheless, the he noted that the only thing that could make Glastrier better and even Spectrier, is if they went the way of Zacian and Zamazenta and could suit up.

So those are just the legendary pokemon every player would love to see in in the Pokémon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra Expansion!
