Pokémon GO developer Niantic has only just announced Galarian Ponyta, a wonderful new pokémon which should be coming to "Pokémon Sword and Shield" game today. Its arrival is still a tease, but it seems very obvious that its release is on the horizon.
The Crown Tundra downloadable content (DLC) will come today, making it the perfect time to unleash the favorite variation of the fans. That's how it went last time, back in June with the release of Isle of Armor and Galarian Farfetch'd, thus expect something similar here.
The specifics are not revealed yet but to give you a leg up, here's how you can more likely get this gorgeous creature into your set. We'll again revisit this guide as soon as concrete specifics are published.
How to Get Galarian Ponyta
If Galarian Ponyta is going to be launched the same way as the Isle of the Armour, they will begin to turn up in the wild any time during the day. There weren't any extra moves or strategies you would have to do to get the Galarian Farfetch'd.
If you want to get all the Galarian Ponyta, just be prepared to play as soon as they're out in the wild. You might end up having to take photos to make them visible, like Pokémon 's former special requirement, although it seems impossible considering how Farfetch'd has performed.
Strangely, there is a single place in the entire Galar where you can capture a Galarian Ponyta in Pokemon Sword & Shield. It will surface in tall grass, but it will not appear in the overworld, but only inside the Glimwood Tangle, which is north of Stow-on-Side, on the way to Ballonlea. It's among the most spectacular areas of the game, plenty of dazzling mushrooms and mysteries that Galarian Ponyta considers fit.
As Ponyta is rare and quick to intimidate, see to it that you move carefully across the long grass of Glimwood Tangle. To get Galarian Ponyta in Pokemon Sword is to exchange with somebody with Pokemon Shield along with Galarian Rapidash.
How to evolve Galarian Ponyta into Rapidash
According to Gamesradar, catching a Galarian Rapidash in Pokemon Sword & Shield is impossible. The only way to collect one is to evolve Galarian Ponyta into this Pokemon. Fortunately, there are no special techniques to evolving it. You only have to get Galarian Ponyta hit Level 40.
