Doctor Who Overview
Doctor Who is a United Kingdom television series who received mass popularity and worldwide success because of its unique storyline and out-of-this-world adventure. The doctor ventures to different times and parts of the world to solve the problems that occur as an anomaly in various periods.
The British television show has famous faces who brought on the Doctor to life on households' screens since the early 1960s and its adaptation in 2005. Some prominent 'Doctors' were brought to life by Peter Capaldi, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and Matt Smith, ranked by Digital Spy.
Now, the production company and actors bring the doctor in an immersive action, sci-fi, and adventure game with Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins and Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality titles. One game, particularly The Edge of Reality, will bring back one doctor who will help the current one, Whittaker, in the quest to solve the mystery.
Doctor Who Cast: David Tennant Will Reprise His Role as 'the Doctor' in Edge of Reality Game
Doctor Who fans, rejoice! A former doctor will return his role as the wacky immortal entity who will help the current lead against a formidable opponent. Have you guessed who will join the merry band of this sci-fi adventure?
The Doctor coming back is David Tennant. This actor played as 'the Doctor' for five years from 2005 to 2010, before being replaced by Matt Smith. Tennant is one of the fan favorites in the television series, bringing back Doctor Who back in the spotlight and leading the series's remake.
According to the actor's website, Tennant would reprise his role as the 'Doctor' but not in the television series and certainly not in live-action. David Tennant would voice his role as the Tenth Doctor in the series, helping the first female and Thirteenth Doctor, Jodie Whittaker.
Doctor WHO Game's Plot and Story
Doctor Who: Edge of Reality will come to consoles, PlayStation and Xbox, and the PC platforms, the large and primary title production for the series' game. This game rebuilds from the VR experience offered last year, having the Doctor fight against favorite villains Dalek, Weeping Angels, Cybermen, and more.
On the other hand, Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins will come to the mobile platforms of iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, offering shorter gameplay and story compared to the former. This game would revolve on the story of the 'Blink' episode that sets off from a mystery phone.
