The Internal Revenue Service has been sending stimulus checks for in bulks throughout the fiscal year of 2020; however, the government agency now sees a discrepancy in its system by overlooking over nine million people in distribution. The government agency's mistake was recently recognized, now asking the general public to register online before closing on October 15.
The lawful payment from the IRS and the US government was on a roll for most people in the country, last spring and summer season's distribution made its way to the general public automatically. However, the IRS now admits that a massive number of the population failed to receive theirs.
Stimulus checks need only its recipients to meet the qualifications and accomplish the requirements and IRS will be on its way to send the money to the public. According to CNet, taxpayers are included in the stimulus checks, but the IRS overlooked a vast majority of the population, a whopping nine million recipients.
Currently, the IRS is processing to send letters and notices to those who are believed to be eligible for the program of the government. However, the agency fears that the time may not be enough to identify the nine million people who were overlooked. Windows are near closing as the last cutoff date for the year of 2020 ends on October 15.
IRS: Nonfilers are Eligible too
Even nonfilers are eligible for the $1,200 payment of the government agency, particularly those who are not required to file tax returns on the fiscal years of 2018 and 2019. Most of those people are unaware of filing a new and separate document that includes them to be recipients of the so-called 'stimulus checks.'
The IRS now contacts nonfilers who do not expect relief from the government for their money. However, identifying each and every one of them will take a long time, according to the agency, and may miss the window of opportunity.

The Internal Revenue Service asks for nonfilers and those who were overlooked by the batch of stimulus checks to click this link and register for the Nonfilers Tool. The cutoff would be by Midnight ET, on next week's Thursday, October 15.

New Stimulus Package for COVID-19
According to CNet, the IRS is speculating on a new relief program that aims to aid taxpayers who are experiencing the hardships of the economy's downfall during this time of the global pandemic. The Novel Coronavirus brought massive unemployment and loss of livelihood, something which the agency aims to provide aid in.
The second batch of stimulus checks may come for federal taxpayers to aid during these trying times. However, this is still speculation of the IRS, with the agency carefully evaluating the factors that surround it. COVID-19 has brought a lot of hardships for the country, rendering it almost disable as health crisis ensues.
