Windows 10 Update Fixes Some OS' Nastiest Bugs; You'll Have It As An Option, Giving You a Choice Not to Install It

Windows 10 update will fix some of the nastiest bugs in OS devices, and it is optional. This is available for May 2020 Update users, solving major issues with Linux support, and more.

The update called patch KB4577063 is currently a preview for Windows 10 May 2020 Update. Since it is optional, this means that it won't automatically update itself.

Users must navigate to Windows Update Panel, located in the Settings, and then choose the "View optional updates" option. Aside from OS bugs, the patch also includes a fix for an issue that causes games, which use spatial audio, to malfunction.

It can also fix some of the recent bugs, including the one that kills Windows Subsystem for Linux with an "element not found" error when users try to run it. Some of LTE modems' problems, which can affect users' internet connections, can also be solved.

If your device is currently suffering from one of the major bugs mentioned, it is advisable to install Window's latest patch. The update will be helpful to those users who are affected by the latter two problems.

Windows Mixed Reality headset users can also find the patch useful since it resolves several issues on devices and adds support for the device's new motion controllers.

However, if you happen to dislike the update, here's how you can uninstall it.

How to Uninstall a Windows 10 Update

Microsoft allows users to uninstall recent Windows 10 updates easily. One of the quickest ways is to use the Settings app, which is bundled with Windows 10.

After that, you'll see "View update history" on the list. After you access the option, you must click "Uninstall updates," which is located in the top-left corner of your screen.

A Control Panel window will open, showing the recently installed updates on your computer. You can now look for the Windows 10 system update and uninstall it.
