Spartacus Lead Actor Liam McIntyre Joins The Flash as Weather Wizard

Spartacus star, Liam McIntyre, has been recruited to play the Weather Wizard in two episodes of The Flash. For those who are unaware, McIntyre is mainly known for his role as Spartacus in the hit TV show, a role he got after the death of Andy Whitfield.

With the report that Liam McIntyre is playing Weather Wizard in The Flash, many might be wondering who the villain was in the first episode since he too had weather-like powers. Well, his name was Clyde Mardon, and he is the brother to McIntyre's character, Mark Mardon.

It is said that Mark died in the plane crash and only Mark survived, but clearly, this is not the case. What we have here is the possibility that Clyde might have fallen somewhere far away from his brother because his body was never found.

From what we've come to understand, Mark chose to return to Central City because of his brother's death. His aim is to kill the man who shot him, and we all know that man to be Joe West. It should be interesting to see how Barry Allen stacks up to the Weather Wizard because he had a difficult time taking down his much weaker brother.

Spartacus stars everywhere

Since the Arrow, several actors from the Spartacus TV series were cast as DC characters. The actors in question are Manu Bennett (Deathstroke), Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Amanda Waller), Katrina Law (Nyssa Raatko) and Nick Tarabay (Captain Boomerang). We always knew more stars of the show would make their way to DC's shared super-hero universe, but we have no idea Spartacus himself would have been casted.

We can say for certain right now that this is a solid casting, and fans of The Flash are more than likely up for a real treat because Liam McIntyre as Weather Wizard is destined for episode 15 and 16. Being in two episodes back-to-back gives us the impression that The Flash is going to have a difficult time taking down Mark Mardon, and Joe West might even find himself in the center of the battle, as he is the main target.
