Facebook will now allow you to hide your Messenger chats behind Face ID. According to The Verge's latest report, the new update of the giant social media app adds an extra layer of security when the users access their Messenger on iPad and iPhone.
Search Engine Journal (SEJ) also reported other new features of Messenger-one of these is the "Screen Sharing" feature that allows users to share a live view of your display to other users while showing the faces of other participants.
"Screen sharing lets you share a live view of your screen so you can share virtually anything together," written in the report.
"Whether you want to share memories from your camera roll, shop together online, co-browse social media, and more," the report added. It was stated that Screen sharing was already available in Messenger's desktop version, and this will be the first time it will be an option in mobile phones.
