Dog lovers will like this viral video in today's post, as the clip trends online showing how three Golden Retrievers save a bird from the waters.
In the video that spanned around two minutes and uploaded on The Dodo, it has already gained millions of views, and about 14,000 likes.
Not every day that you are able to see these bright sides of life. It offers a breath of fresh air from the daily grind and stresses.
The action
When the video was uploaded on Facebook, various netizens have expressed their reactions about what they saw.
Lou Coster Mills wrote in the comments section, "Great job getting the bird out. I bet he/she really appreciated being dunked by a pole and pushed under water, then having a huge dog in it's face... I genuinely do appreciate that they have an animal, if I was to save an animal in my garden, the first thing I would do is put the dog in the house, then put the phone down."
The video started with the Golden Retrievers seemingly busy working on something in the pool. The woman in the voice-over was trying to call the dogs. She was heard saying, "What is it?"
She zoomed the camera to where the dogs were, and saw that the dogs were trying to save a bird who seemingly fell to the pool.
"Oh, oh, oh, it's a bird," the voice-over said.
It was clear that the bird was having a hard time making itself out of the water, until the woman took the swimming pool net to take the bird out.
However, the video continued showing the dogs never letting go of the bird, even if it has already been saved, and now on the net already
Worrying dogs
The dogs were seemingly worried about the condition of the bird that must have stayed in the waters for long. "The bird is okay, stay in there, stay in there," the pet owner instructed the Golden Retrievers.
Toward the end of the video, the pet owner was heard saying if the bird needed a shoebox or it was okay on the net. She even offered if they can take care of the bird for a few days, saying they can do that if they need to.
Another person, a companion of the person in the voice over, was seen in the last frames taking the bird back to its nest. From the net, he took the bird with his hands and placed it back in the wild. It flew, saved from the possible drowning.
Humans and some animals may be able to swim should they find themselves in the risks when in the pool. However, smaller creatures like this bird, thanks to the Golden Retrivers who found them, may drown and the water might overwhelm it, worse, it may die or get fatally ill.
