The EA Play 2020 presentation has announced The Sims 4, the world's most popular life simulation video game. It is also now available on Steam, with discounts and perks, Venture Beat reported.
The game series The Sims has been making the way into the hearts of the gamers for several years since the very first edition in 2000. It is a simulation game that lets them control the lives of their "Sims," or their character, build their houses, dress them up, have them meet with friends, or seek a career as if the gamer is the character.
It also lets you design interiors of homes, and start a family, bringing children to the school. Aside from the launch, there will also be a new launch window for EA Access on Steam.
Expansion Packs
The Sims 4 was announced alongside other games in the EA collection. According to the media reports, Steam launches the game along with its DLC. This includes several Expansion Packs at varying prices.
The good news, gamers, and fans may grab these opportunities in the Expansion Packs at a discounted price in addition to the game. The deals and promos will last until July 9.
Players who buy the simulation game on Steam will be given access to the other stuff. Aside from the DLC, they also will have the in-game currency, virtual currency, and more features. Remember that the purchase of the videogame cannot carry over or source from Origin to Steam, a representative from EA confirmed. The fans also asked if it is possible to transfer content from one service to the other.
The Sims 4 is now on sale on Steam with a 50 percent discount, slashing the price down to $19.99, Games Radar reported.
Furthermore, it has also been previously announced that the new Sims game will have the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack, which will center on eco-friendly activities, to launch on June 5.
With this, it becomes the first-ever add-on in the history of the game to refer to several environmental issues. It is also the only environment-inspired theme of The Sims.
