Logan Williams from "The Flash" died recently, and his death is confirmed as fentanyl overdose. The very young actor who was last seen at the hit TV show passes at the age of 16.

Logan Williams, a young Canadian actor who sadly passed away on Apr. 2, at the very young age of 16. Died because of a fentanyl overdose, which his mother confirmed earlier today. Williams gained popularity in starring in the hit TV shot by CW called "The Flash" as a younger version of protagonist Barry Allen, who is still played by Grant Gustin.
Marlyse Williams, Willams' mother, has told her side of the story about her son's unexpected passing in New York Post, where she was able to talk about her son's three-year struggle with opioid addiction as well as her hopes that the story of her son would raise awareness of the real-life struggle of people who suffer the same sickness as her late son.
Mrs. Williams said, "His death is not going to be in vain," and quickly added, "He's going to help a lot of people down the road." Mrs. Williams explained to the publisher that he began using marijuana at the early age of 13 before moving to other but stronger substances. The young actor was already a resident in British Columbia, which was considered a treatment facility that houses patients who are suffering or coping from drug abuse and the like. Mrs. Williams said, "I did everything humanly possible-everything a mother could do, I did everything but handcuff him to me to try to keep him safe."

Fellow Co-Stars Are Stricken With Grief
Williams's death came as a shock on Apr. 2 by his then-agent Michelle Gauvin of Performers Management from Vancouver, British Columbia. Gustin, the lead role of the series, has expressed his grief and sorrow regarding the tragic news on his Instagram post, where he shared a photo from the set of "The Flash."
"Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly. This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014. I was so impressed by not only Logan's talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I'm sure an unimaginably difficult time for them. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone."
Even actor John Wesley Shipp, who played Barry Allen's dad in CBC's 1990-1991 version of The Flash, which is the show character's dad shared his grief on Twitter. Expressing "Heartsick to learn of Logan Williams' death at 16," and added, "He was 100% committed to playing young Barry Allen, and we missed him once we moved past that part of the story. Love and compassion to Logan's family and friends in your grief."
