Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Warzone recently releases new mandatory guidelines in playing the game, specifically for PC.
It takes more time now to log-in on COD Warzone due to this update
Cheating is no longer new to almost every video game released so far. And of course, COD Warzone is not exempted at all.
With its millions of players, Infinity Ward cannot just fully stop all the cheating tactics of each of its players. Last April, the developers of the game claimed that over 70,000 gamers were banned from entering the game due to this problem.
"We take all forms of cheating very seriously, maintaining a level and fair playing field for everyone is among our highest priorities. This is an area we have been working on heavily, but it isn't always something we discuss publicly," Activision said on the blog post in March.
COD players can also now report their fellow gamers once they caught them cheating or using hacks in the middle of the game. Using the new "report-a-player functionality," Infinity Ward and Activision think that this would avoid cheaters on their platform.
In the same month that this was announced, Infinity Ward also implemented updated matchmaking of suspected game cheaters from the Warzone. Once you've been selected or reported as a game cheater, developers will have to join you with other cheaters and take you to a battle, just like cheaters versus cheaters.
