What's The Scoop?
Samsung is bringing a lot of improvements from the Galaxy S20's camera software features to last year's flagships phones the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 with their upcoming software update, which they announced just today.
What Features Will Be Available?
The Single Take and Night Hyperlapse are the main things to note, the brand new gallery and sharing features as well will shine in the update.
Single Take lets you hit the shutter button once, and the phone takes multiple camera effects at once, and you will be able to choose from. Granted, it does not take the "best" picture entirely, but it is a fun quirk to have and play with if you're not trying to be a try-hard photographer and enjoy a quick and entertaining picture.
Don't forget the Custom Filter! It automatically generates a photo filter from a picture that you already took, and if you want to go deep into tweaking your art. Pro video mode has got you covered with granular control over many others.
Night hyperlapse makes you fantastically capture the night. Advanced low light technology previously unheard of gives you the ability to shoot video with great exposure-style captures, enabling your video feature striking light trails.

What Else Can You Expect?
The gallery app will get a cleaner look with the new Clean View mode that makes similar photos grouped up together under just one thumbnail. This makes your gallery look more organized, also a new Quick Crop mode that makes it easier to do things that would typically take a few more seconds to go, but this time, instant!
Quick Share and Music Share features will also be coming to much older devices, which is a win for older flagships like the S9 and Note 9 lineups so they won't be left out.
Good News Moving Forward
This is a welcome surprise from Samsung that they really do care for their consumers and would not just be quick to promote a new phone but also maintain their older variants. The S20's features are great, and it's now going to be available to its predecessor, which is a fraction of the S20 price range, which is rare for manufacturers to do, mind you.
When To Expect The Update?
The tech giant, Samsung, has not announced an exact date as to when the update would be live and specifically which markets get it first. They did, however, said expect it to be out in the next few weeks so all you S10 and Note 10 Users can rest easy for the time being and hopefully get that surprise sooner than you think.
