How to Get Pokemon Go Raid Rewards at Home: Italians Have Found a Way!

Pokemon Go has been one of the newest crazes ever since it came out because of its interesting gameplay, which required players to go out and travel just like how Pokemon trainers would do! The recent quarantine in Italy has been a roadblock for most Pokemon Go players as they were discouraged from going outside unless absolutely necessary. Still, somehow, Italians have found a way to enjoy playing Pokemon Go and getting Raid Rewards without having to go out!

The recent pandemic has had a huge effect on Pokemon Go players

Because of the pandemic, the whole gameplay of Pokemon Go is discouraged as everyone is advised to stay inside and avoid going out unless absolutely necessary. The coronavirus (COVID-19) has already taken the lives of quite a number of Italians in just a small amount of time.

How did the Italians manage to play Pokemon Go at home?

Although the Italian Pokemon Go players were not able to attend the raids because of the ongoing quarantine, players were able to find a way to play the game at home and even collect Raid rewards! Italian players have started to notice that Raids were showing up despite the whole state-mandated requirements, which had them stay indoors due to concerns of the coronavirus.

The key was Cobalion Raids!

There has finally been a way that allows Italians to participate in the game from home while collecting full Raid rewards even without having to Raid in the first place! These Cobalion Raids were also seen in Japan, Korea, and even other countries as well.

Sadly, Niantic has just recently announced that Raid Hour would soon be canceled until further notice, according to the Pokemon Go live updates website.

The best way to enjoy Pokemon Go at home is still by joining GBL

Go Battle Leagues or otherwise known as GBL is the only way for you to enjoy playing Pokemon Go from home without having to risk going outside in the times of coronavirus. It is even ensured that the benefits that players will receive are pretty much the same--no reason for players to go outside and risk it.

Niantic has announced that they are working on making the game playable from home

In a recent tweet by Niantic, it was announced that they are working as hard as they can to make sure that Pokemon Go players get an equal advantage when they work inside their homes. There was a specific mention of the Special Research story event, which said that "A Drive to Investigate," which "has been designed to be playable without group gameplay."

Although the Raid is no longer playable, Italians have paved a path to the possibility of Pokemon Go being more home-friendly so that players can enjoy playing at home despite the quarantine. The coronavirus is no easy matter. That is why Niantic is finding a way to make this more playable from home.
