Sony has something to say, and it couldn't come at a better time. Mark Cerny reveals that they will have a "deep dive" into the PS5 Wednesday, Mar. 18, at 9 AM PST, and it's going to be a big one. Finally, some good news amidst all the bad news coming from the world right now!
As per PlayStation's official Twitter account, they will be talking about their system's architecture and how it might shape the future of gaming as a whole because of this.
Why Just Now, Sony?
Last week, Sony was pretty quiet about news and events. This is a solid reminder to all that the tech giant is still in play and will still be rolling out their prized possession sometime in the near future.
Twitter User Nibel has also leaked some news about the upcoming talk about the deep dive that "Playstation Japan confirms that tomorrow's PS5 presentation contains content that was originally intended for GDC (and is English only)". This post, however, is already deleted at this time of writing.
Nibel explained that it's supposedly be shown in GDC but did not come to fruition because of the pandemic now affecting our globe right now.

What Could The Talk Be About?
The talk most probably will be about the technical side of the game, but others suggest in Reddit as well that it might be some improvements and comparisons of how previous versions of the PlayStation consoles would match against the up-coming PS5 which is a good guess as well. It might also give us the look of the PS5 for consumers and would talk more about what consumers will expect moving forward while owning this device, like constants updates and next-gen games that are made available at the time of release.
Who knows we might also be having a reveal as to how much it would actually cost.
This story will be updated when we know more about the event or what transpired and be sure to find out that we will have it ready by the time you either hear about it or would be the first to see it, only here in Techtimes.
