FORTNITE PATCH NOTES 12.20

GENERAL AND CREATIVE

The update fixed the issue where Yacht Prefab is placed on the rails, and the Vault Banner can now be seen in the player's locker.

BATTLE ROYALE

Certain issues with the battle royale have been fixed, including the trap icon in which players are unable to put traps whenever the icon has not yet finished loading. On Playstation 4, players can now resume auto-sprint when they let go of their control sticks as long as they push it slightly forward.

When it comes to the building's in-game, players have noticed low detail on the structures. This has now been fixed as well. Another fix that found players in a tight spot, literally, is when using the Porta-Potty. Players have reported getting stuck after using a Secret Passage. This has been fixed in the new update.

Fixes have been done with the markers wherein they were too far away when placed behind terrain or behind buildings and structures, wherever the player is aiming at.

Two end match bugs have been patched where "Return to Lobby", "Report Player" and the item shop buttons have been unresponsive whenever the controller is used.

HELICOPTER LEAK

Aside from the patch notes, there have been leaks going around the helicopters with an HP of 1,500 is coming soon in the new update as Fortnite has been hinting in-game. Helicopter pads are all over Fortnite's map, including photos of helicopters at the Grotto location.

Spidicey1 on Twitter, who is a data miner, took it to Twitter to share leaks about the helicopter, which is code-named "Hoagie."

Though there is a catch, the helicopter doesn't seem to include any additional weapons or any assists, and it is unclear whether or not players can use their own weapons while in battle. Other codes that have been uncovered are when players can get 100 points of self-damage whenever they get in the way of the blades. The helicopter can also be a boost and will take a lot of damage to take this one down the sky.

It also seems as though the helicopter can only be manned by one person at a time. This would eventually come in handy whenever solo matches are at stake and a little problematic when in squads. Back in the old seasons, vehicles can be manned by four people to help the entire team get from one place to another.

For emote wise, the famous and iconic line from Arnold Schwarzenegger "Get To The Choppa" can be used when calling out teammates too, well, get to the chopper.

Downtime has now started, which means players can now download the patch on Playstation 4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
