Robert Downey, Jr., an Oscar-nominated actor, and practically Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, has unknowingly leaked the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone after he was photographed holding the phone.
Iron Man Leaks OnePlus 8 Pro
According to PhoneArena, RDJ was photographed during a break from shooting a new OnePlus ad by director and photographer Sam Jones, who allegedly published the image on his Instagram page.
After posting the said image, Jones quickly deleted the picture, probably realizing that Downey was still holding the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone, which wasn't revealed to the public yet.
But, it came a little late as fans have already grabbed the image, and it's currently circulating online.
Rumors Confirmed?
The image didn't show the entirety of the smartphone, only showing its backside, which was still partially covered by Downey's hand. By the looks of it, it appears as though OnePlus 8 Pro will indeed have a quad-camera system as with rumors that appeared last October 2019.
Looking similar to OnePlus's previous flagship phone OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T Pro, three of the lenses are aligned vertically, while the fourth will likely be responsible for advanced Augmented Reality experiences.
The render that was leaked last October has also shown a punch-hole front camera in place of a pop-up model.
OnePlus 8 Series Launch
Besides confirming the rumors about a quad-camera system, it appears as though the leaked photo of Iron Man himself with the phone coincides with another speculation that the new OnePlus 8 series will be "announced in mid-April," as per TechRadar.
Additionally, the phones have apparently appeared on TENAA, China's telecom regulator, with 5G support, as with the rest of the OnePlus 8 series.
Its recent appearance had many believing in its imminent announcement and release, but OnePlus has officially announced nothing regarding its launch, so take the information with a pinch of salt.
Specs Revealed
Although the release date of the OnePlus 8 series smartphones is practically a secret, many are already made aware of the specs.
So far, we know that the series will include three versions: the regular, the Pro, and the Lite.
Based on a report by AndroidCentral, the OnePlus 8 Lite has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a 2400 x 1080p display and 90Hz refresh rate, with a punch-hole cutout for the single front-facing selfie camera, and a dual-lens system and Time-of-flight sensor at the back.

The Lite version will also include a USB Type-C port, but no headphone jack as expected.
It will have an Android 10 OxygenOS, as with the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro, but will run on MediaTek Dimensity 1000.
Meanwhile, OnePlus 8 has rounded edges with a single punch-hole cut on the top-left part of the screen for the selfie camera, while it will have a three-camera setup on the back.
The regular version should have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, with 2400 x 1080p display and 120Hz refresh rate, similar to that of the OnePlus 8 Pro version.
Both the regular and the Pro editions will run on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
