The coronavirus or Covid-19 situation in China has finally started to go down and this has prompted Apple to once again reopen all of their stores located in China but with a few precautions. Apple is still selling their products but they no longer allow people to try on their products and on top of that, their stores will only be open for a limited time.
All 42 locations within the country have finally been reopened after being on hold from operations for quite a while. This information was confirmed by Apple themselves in hopes to counter the panic being spread around the globe due to the coronavirus or Covid-19.
Apple has closed their stores in Italy
While the situation in China seems to improve, Apple is finally closing down their retail stores located in Italy because of the heavy lockdown. This decision has been made final but it is still unclear as to how long the stores will remain closed. For now, all operations have halted in hopes to not add to the panic of the raging pandemic.
Apple gives unlimited sick leaves
The good thing about how Apple is currently handling the situation is that they are now more concerned for their worker's safety by offering them unlimited sick leaves if ever they feel any coronavirus-like symptoms. A doctor's note is required to avail this sick leave to confirm that the employee is actually experience certain symptoms.

This precautionary measure allows employees to be paid and Apple functions to be resumed and although this is a good news for everyone, Apple is still being very conscious about the whole situation. Apple's work hours are now dramatically reduced but at least they are still functional.
No try-ons allowed
Apple is still trying to protect their employees which is why they are not allowing try-ons as for now but if there are customers who specifically request to try the AirPods or Apple Watch on, the employees will oblige but with proper sanitary measures.
Apple started shutting down on early February
All stores located in China were closed earlier last February but the start of the stores shutting down slowly started in January. The more severe the situation became, Apple started to take even more drastic measures until every single store was closed down. This was a dark day for Apple and a much darker day for their employees.

Apple sales went down by 60 percent
The data showed by the government itself has reported that Apple was only able to sell 60 percent less iPhones in China ever since February of 2020. This data has been compared to the previous year's data of the same month.
Although Apple is reopening its stores in China, US stores may be in danger
Although progress is seen in China, Apples situation in the United States might be facing danger of closing a few stores. Just recently Apple had to cancel its yearly event in fear of the coronavirus or Covid-19. It is still unclear as to the movements of Apple in the United States but it might not be too favorable due to the virus.
