[BREAKING] Trump administration now allows Huawei to operate until May 15
China-based technology company Huawei can now relax for a little bit. Trump Administration finally extended its license to legally operate in the country for the next couple of months until May 15.
South China Morning Post reported on Tuesday, Mar. 10, that the administration has finally issued extension license in order for the company to legally operate in the country despite first claims that their devices pose a national security threat for the US.
The country's Commerce Department already issued a series of extension licenses to Huawei until Apr. 1 back when the issue was still prevailing. However, the agency also conducted a public survey to all companies that might be affected if ever Huawei has not yet back in service for the next couple of months. This made them more assured that Huawei is one of the most important tech companies as the second-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world-- giving them another chance to prove their stringent security for the consumers.
As also reported via SCMP, the US Commerce Department also said that Huawei brings a huge help to all rural areas in the country-- allowing rural carriers to continue services in the most remote areas in the US.
What changes Donald Trump's mind regarding Huawei?
Though Huawei can now be part of the US markets again, Trump administration still seemed to be careful about their actions against the company and does not trust them when it comes to security.
Last year, Huawei was banned through all US carriers after Pres. Trump said that they found malicious actions with the company that might affect national security. It even got the attention of other countries that allowed Huawei to operate.
Huawei P40 Pro will now legally reach US carriers!
Since Huawei is now back on track to all US carriers, US smartphone fans can now also expect Huawei's flagship phone P40 Pro to head their way within the month of March.
Just in time for P40 Pro! This device is reportedly one of the best smartphones that US consumers must expect soon in the market with its awesome Penta-lens camera photography features and rumoured to have 10GB to 12 GB RAM.
