Nioh was a surprising release last 2017, which saw a very interesting take of the Sengoku-era in this action-packed RPG! The humble game had quite a successful launch and started to get better as time went on since excellent reviews were given left and right! The more you get into the Nioh franchise, the more excited you will become for the upcoming Nioh 2 to be released this Mar. 13!
The new character in Nioh 2
Instead of pushing through and playing an English sailor who somehow turned samurai like the first installment of Nioh, you will be able to customize your character as a half-human half-yokai, which makes it more personal.
The advantages of creating your own character are able to hand-pick the type of style you want to use throughout the game. Would the personalization of a player's character strip the game from its pride and glory of having a specific story for a specific character? This is a very different turn from the character players used to playing in the original Nioh.

The alternate-history Japan setting
A lot of games have been made with the intent of going back into Japanese history and offering a type of twist by altering certain facts to make an interesting alternate-history to the esteemed Japanese history.
Japan's history is very rich and interesting, which is why it has been the subject of most fictional material because of how beautifully the rich and preserved Japanese culture blends in with other interesting concepts. A lot of video games have attempted to do what Nioh does, but it is quite obvious that Nioh does it so much better.
Aside from the concept, Nioh has great gameplay
With a bit of a slasher-type game in its core, Nioh does this more gracefully while the graphics and controls really follow through and deliver a stellar video game for players to appreciate. The advanced graphics and interesting camera angles make every single move seem quite powerful but also not too exaggerated for an accurate depiction of actual damage.

The plot of the upcoming Nioh 2 can be the highlight of the game
The very plot of the upcoming Nioh 2 could be the strongest feature of the game itself since the franchise is willing to sacrifice picking a unique character assignment and allowing players to have a certain level of choice when it comes to character selection.
The plot might revolve more about what is happening around that area rather than just what is happening around your character, which makes for a juicier storyline altogether.
Sony's Nioh 2 could be a big hit!
The game will be launched for PS4 and developed by Team Ninja, which is responsible for the successful heavily-oriental themed game. The graphics have also been heavily upgraded compared to the original game in the franchise bringing out a beautifully created video game oozing out with high definition graphics. Nioh 2 could be the next big thing!
