Pokemon Meets Activision's Call of Duty? Could Tomogunchi Be the Next Big Pet Game within a Game?

For those who aren't quite familiar with what Tomogunchi is, it used to be a virtual pet which was usually played on its own device! Activision's Call of Duty gets an unexpected game within a game as players can now play Tomogunchi within the game itself! The update was launched last March 3 and has become one of the things that make Call of Duty Modern Warfare even more interesting. The Infinity Ward sees a Pokemon-like evolution for these Tomogunchi pets.

Here is a list of those pets and how to get them for yourself!

Riley the Dog

Man's best friend gets an irresistible upgrade. The Call of Duty Tomogunchis would not be the same without a dog included. You will be able to define Riley by the noticeable headgear on the dog's head! Riley was actually included in the trio of adult types seen in the trailer.

Panda

Remember Kung Fu Panda's Po? Well, the Tomogunchi's Panda is way cuter than that one. The Panda is supposedly a peaceful creature which must be safeguarded during war which is quite an interesting addition especially when the game it appears in is Activision's ever shooting Call of Duty. The Panda was also included in the original adult type trio shown in the trailer.

Dragon

The dragon is actually the last part of the trio but we are thankful that it is still included during the trailer because the Dragon is one of the coolest pet out there! There have been rumors speculating that to evolve your pet into a Dragon, you would need to thermite or Molotov kills. Some player gave the information by posting on Reddit saying that since he played a lot of Hardcore mode, he was able to get the special form.

Ghost

One of the most iconic characters which hails way back from the Modern Warfare series comes back as not just an operator but as an adult variant on Tomogunchi! When your Tomogunchi shows a ghost, sadly, your pet is dead and you would have to start over.

Bat

One of the most fitting pets for Activision's Call of Duty, the Bat reportedly evolves into a secret form with 10 execution kills which is something you will have to try out for yourself. The Bat seems most fit as a pet in Call of Duty because of how it fits the killing theme!

Pony

Rumors once again suggest that the Pony comes up when you administer "average care." Well, there have not been any photos of the Pony present so everything right now is still speculation. It also seems like nobody knows what "average care" means. To unlock this special form, do not waste your time while it's an adult because the life cycle resets once completed.

There are a few ways to take care of your pets and they can be seen on the four squares located at the right side of your watch. The first would be hunger which can be satisfied by kills, dirty which can be satisfied by games won, unruly which refers to the objective score, and boredom which is dealt with by activate killstreaks!
