Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Doom 64, and Doom Eternal will all land on the same day, which makes them besties indeed. As a stark contrast to the player base that will be buying these games separately, it's not so bad to think that they can enjoy both games at the same time, no?
Why even think about the pair
Isabelle, who has been dubbed the mascot for Animal Crossing franchise is set to go toe-to-toe with Doom Guy, and it's a fantastic concept. They have both been chosen to celebrate the launch of both games on the Nintendo Switch.
It's tough not to think about the pairing because they are COMPLETE opposites--from honest-to-goodness relaxation, you get when playing Animal Crossing to hardcore survival, looting, and shooting skills when it's Doom's turn on your Switch. It's what makes it spark so much interest in people right now who have played games like that since it touches very different player bases.
The pictures of the pair are overwhelmingly cute
Fans who know about the pairing has been posting stuff online, and here are some of the highlights. Try not to be overwhelmed with the cuteness and badassery.

Priceless photos indeed show the hype is indeed real, and players can't wait to own the games when they are released.
Both games in a nutshell
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a life simulation game where you take a trip to a remote island and build your home or empire there. Meet new NPC's and play with your friends via the online network and make the island of your dreams. The building is all new to this game, but the fun is non-stop. You are doing quests, helping out NPC's and creating your gear for your little island. Guaranteed fun every time you pick up your Switch to play the game.
Doom Eternal and Doom 64 are the complete opposite. You will not be relaxing with these games; instead, you will be met with numerable demons from Hell that you need to send them back by either crushing their faces with your boot or shooting them in the body. Take your pick. You are focused on a one-person mission similar to how Rambo does all his tasks or the Terminator mowing down the baddies. You will no doubt have a different kind of fun, but still fun is the keyword.
