HBO has been coy about giving out too many details about the upcoming fifth season of Game of Thrones. A five-second clip here, an image there, but overall fans who haven't read George R.R. Martin's books haven't had much to go on for what is in store for Arya, Jaime, Brienne, Tyrion and the rest of the Game of Thrones crew.
That changes on Feb. 8 at 7:30 E.T., when HBO is set to premiere a 28-minute behind-the-scenes featurette titled "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life," according to the online HBO Go schedule.
While the listing doesn't provide any further details, one quick look into what HBO has done in past years leading up to the return of show makes it a fairly safe assumption that we will see bits and pieces of what is to come in season five. Prior to season four HBO released "Game of Thrones Season 4: Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing" in a similar manner. That video, which you can watch below, included behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and clips from season four.
What might we see when Feb. 8 comes around? Likely much the same, though it is worth pointing out that the season four video made a point of foreshadowing the upcoming season of the show whereas "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life" sounds more like a strictly behind-the-scenes look. Fans will just have to tune in and see what HBO has planned.
