If you are a fan of Pokemon anime, Pokemon Go, or even just Pikachu himself, you will be thrilled to find out that Facebook has something to offer for you. Just a hint, it involves playing with the pocket monsters characters and comes with Pokedex to 'catch 'em all.'

Facebook Features Two Latest Pokemon-Inspired Games For All!

As reported, Facebook recently transformed another legendary game into its own system. Speaking of launching Pokemon-inspired games: Pokémon Tower Battle and Pokémon Medallion Battle, the two new games set Facebook gamers to a different Pokemon gaming experience and allow them to discover different characters from the media franchise.

So if you are new to the Pokemon fever itself, this is the time for you to catch up and make some new friends while beating them on each Pokemon battle.

How to Play Facebook's Pokemon Tower Battle?

The rules of the games are simple. For the Pokemon Tower Battle Facebook game, players can face off to another opponent-- whether a stranger or a Facebook friend-- and challenge them to build the highest Pokemon tower that the two of you can create. Just like a normal Tetris game, players will have the time to drop Pokemons from the sky and knocked over another pocket monster from your opponent's team. Once your pocket monster lands on the ground, the player of that Pokemon loses the game.

Though the game seemed to be easy at first, developers of the game said that Tower Battle players will soon "discover, catch and level-up rare pokémon"-- making the game more interesting once you leveled up each battle.

"They can compete in real-time against friends or across a global leaderboard. It might seem like a simple physics-based puzzler at first, but the strategic choices in where and how players stack pokémon will determine the true Tower Battle masters," said a press release.

Pokemon Tower Battle is free for everyone around the world to play on Facebook.

How to Play Facebook's Pokemon Medallion Battle?

Compared to the first launched game of Pokemon Tower Battle, Pokemon Medallion Battle is much trickier. This game allows Facebook players to have their own Pokedex-- digital encyclopedia for various pocket monsters, and battle out with different players just like the normal Pokemon battle. Although, with the use of medallion-style Pokemon cards.

And similar to how Pokemon works, Medallion Battle players can also evolve their set of pocket monsters to guarantee their winning on each battle. Each Pokemon Medallion cards have their numbers or stats that will determine who will on a match-- once your medallion is higher, you win the game.

Though it seemed fun, other regions across the globe cannot yet access the said game. As of today, the game is only accessible in Asia-Pacific countries like the Philippines. However, according to Facebook, the game is still on its 'soft launch,' but soon, the game is promised to be available to be played worldwide.

"We are excited to launch two new entries in the Pokémon franchise on Facebook Gaming. Launching these games through Facebook will allow people all over the world to experience Pokémon in digital form, and we are especially thrilled to collaborate with Facebook Gaming in enabling new audiences to enjoy Pokémon games online," said Tsunekazu Ishihara, CEO, The Pokémon Company.
