The buzz is getting louder around the highly anticipated Google Pixel 4, with the latest leak set to appeal to photography enthusiasts and Instagram users.
Word on the street is that the upcoming generation of Pixel will boast a fantastic snapper with new and improved features.
New Motion Mode, Improved Night Sight For Pixel 4
A reliable source told 9to5Google that one of the flagship features of the Pixel 4's camera is Motion Mode, which makes the user capable of capturing moving subjects with clarity and blurred backgrounds. It's ideal for sports and action shots, and if executed correctly, it puts the smartphone on par-at least on this specific function-with standalone cameras.
Google also worked on making its Night Sight feature even better despite that the feature is already being touted as one of the best night-mode features in the smartphone category. For Pixel 4, the company engineers reportedly made speed-related improvements and other general tweaks for a better nighttime photography experience.
According to the insider, the changes to Night Sight will make the camera more capable of capturing photos of the night sky and stars.
The Pixel 4 lineup is equipped with two rear sensors, one of which is 12MP with phase-detect autofocus and the other one a 16MP telephoto lens. Its front camera is expected to be a wide-angle lens, according to 9to5Google.
Leaks, Rumors Paint A Picture Of The Google Pixel 4
Google hasn't been talking a lot about the Pixel 4, but the company did divulge a few details about the upcoming smartphone last July. One of the main features in the news release is a motion-sensing radar Soli that powers a new feature called Motion Sense. Motion Sense allows users to snooze alarms, skip songs, and even make phone calls silent with a simple wave of the hand.
Pixel 4 will also feature faster face unlock sensors and strict security, according to Google.
Video and photo leaks of the upcoming smartphone have suggested that it will feature slim bezels as well as speaker cutouts on the bottom.
XDA Developers also got a hold of photos that suggest a couple more significant features, specifically a 6GB RAM and a 8x zoom function on the camera. Both Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are rumored to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with 90Hz OLED displays.
Google Pixel 4 is expected to be released in the fall of 2019 with many outlets predicting a launch in the month of October.
