The Google Pixel 4 was spotted in the wild yet again.
The Mountain View company has already shown off the rear design of the smartphone in question, and it has also given a peek at the upper half of its front. This time around, the whole display is in full view — that is, assuming it's the real deal.
Alleged Pixel 4 Prototype
As posted by the UK website The Teen Tech, it claims it saw a Google employee taking a purported prototype of the Pixel 4 out for a spin aboard an airplane, managing to snap a few shots of the device.
The takeaways here are the minimal bezels at the top and the front-facing camera, the placement of which aligns with what Google has already revealed before. The other sensors for its face unlock feature — and even the speaker grille, for that matter — are hard to make out, thanks in part to the image quality.
Meanwhile, its bottom chin and bezels on its sides are practically nonexistent, but the former may just look that way because of the angle of the pictures.
The prototype here is also said to sport an orange power button just above the volume rocker and a white rear panel. In addition, it doesn't have any visible fingerprint reader, which could mean it's under the display.
Pixel 4 Specs
Previous leaks have revealed some of the specs of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Both are said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with 6 GB of RAM and come with either 64 GB or 128 GB of native storage.
The Pixel 4 is going to have a 5.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display, while its bigger sibling is going to be equipped with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ OLED display. The two will have a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a feature that Google reportedly calls "Smooth Display."
Google is expected to debut the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL sometime in October, meaning it won't be long now until fans can get a close look at the anticipated smartphones.
