A new leak of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro just came out, and it's a complete specs sheet of the two.
Details of the handsets have been leaking left and right, and at this point, pretty much everyone already knows what to expect from them. Put differently, all that's left is for the smartphone maker to announce them officially.
Of course, going by rumors and such isn't exactly reliable. The company might have something up its sleeve that has gone under the radar of leaksters, after all.
At any rate, if this new leak turns out to be true, then the differences between the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are now as clear as day.
OnePlus 7 vs. OnePlus 7 Pro
Previous leaks already painted a picture of how different the OnePlus 7 will be from its Pro sibling, but the new specs sheet adds more details to work with.
As posted on Slashleaks, a noteworthy website when it comes gadget leaks, the two phones will run on Android 9 Pie with an OxygenOS skin on top and have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, USB-C port, and an under-display fingerprint reader.
The OnePlus 7 will sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, 6 GB of RAM, a dual-camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary lens coupled with a telephoto sensor, a front-facing camera in a notch, and a 4,150 mAh battery with Warp Charge support, a feature that delivers a charging rate of 30W. Its dimensions are 6.20 x 2.94 x 0.31 inches.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a 6.64-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 10 GB of RAM, a triple-camera configuration that comprises a 48-megapixel primary snapper and telephoto and ultra-wide sensors, a pop-up front-facing camera, a 4,000 mAh battery with Warp Charge support, and dimensions of 6.40 x 2.99 x 0.34 inches.
To highlight the differences, the OnePlus 7 Pro has the better display overall with its higher refresh rate for smoother animations and Quad HD+ resolution for sharper images, not to mention it doesn't have a notch or anything like it, thanks to the pop-up front camera. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau even described it as a "breakthrough" display that people just have to "see to believe." It also has more RAM and more rear cameras that are said to be on par with top-tier phones and feature 3x optical zoom. It does have a slightly smaller battery, though.
OnePlus Launch Event
No matter how authentic this specs sheet may look, it's still recommended to take it with a grain of salt. It won't be long until the official specs of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are out anyway, as the phone maker is scheduled to take the wraps off the devices at 11 a.m. ET on May 14 at Pier 94 in New York.
