Taco Bell Hot Sauce Saves Florida Customer's Life

In an astonishing turn of events, a Taco Bell customer's craving for more hot sauce saved his life from imminent danger.

According to reports, a 77-year-old man who was leaving a Taco Bell restaurant in Winter Haven, Florida smashed into the building instead. Authorities said the man was about to drive off from the parking slot when he made an error with the gear, resulting in the collision.

Emmanuel Akowuah, who was with his wife at the time of the incident, said he put his SUV in reverse, but reverted it to drive. His vehicle went over the curb and into the building, causing significant building damages.

Saved By The Taco Bell Hot Sauce

Meanwhile, a Taco Bell customer who was not named was at the site of the crash just moments before the car accident. The man was eating at around 4:30 p.m. when he felt like adding more hot sauce to his food. A few moments after he had left his table, the SUV came crashing, destroying a window and a portion of the wall.

A police statement said the vehicle has caused significant damage, although authorities have yet to make an estimate of the repair costs. A spokesperson for the Winter Haven Police Department confirmed the story from the customer himself.

He said the hot sauce led to his lucky escape. No one was harmed in the incident.

Not The First Time

The miraculous escape is just one of the latest heroics of the Taco Bell hot sauce. In a report a few weeks ago, an Oregon man claimed to have survived a brutal snowstorm by consuming hot sauce packets.

The man was trapped inside his vehicle for five days, with no food or water but just three packets of sauce. A snowmobiler discovered his whereabouts, and a snow tractor rescued him.
