With the amount of problems PlayStation gamers faced during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we expect them to look to Sony for some awesome free goodies come January 2015. As far as we can tell, Sony did not disappoint.
PlayStation Plus members are down for some cool free games in January, as Sony has announced the titles that gamers should look forward to. We must state that this list isn't the best, but it should be good enough for anyone looking forward to some cool games to enjoy.
List of free games:
Infamous: First Light (PlayStation 4)
This remarkable game is title set in the same universe as Infamous: Second Son. It's a prequel that some are claiming to be better than the original itself. It's a great game, and if folks haven't played it before, this is the time to get their time invested.
The Swapper (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita)
The Swapper is a platformer that is high on puzzles, and set in space. Players of the game are required to wield a device that allows them to clone themselves and swap from one clone to the other. It is indeed one of the best indie titles on the PlayStation platform and deserves to be played by gamers everywhere.
Woah Dave! (PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita)
A great arcade game for mobile devices, but probably not for the PlayStation 4. Folks who own a Vita should be prepared to be entertained by Woah Dave, but PlayStation 4 owners won't be missing out on anything should they choose to turn a blind eye.
Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition (PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita)
Folks who have never played the original Duke Nukem 3D should be excited for what is around the corner with the upcoming Megaton Edition. It should be a title that brings back memories, and create new and younger fans.
DuckTales: Remastered (PlayStation 3)
The first DuckTales was an awesome and fun 2D platformer, and we expect the Remastered version to be slightly better. We don't see much reasons for folks who played the earlier version to play this one, but it is perfect for those who have not already.
Prototype 2 (PlayStation 3)
We've played both Prototype games, and Lord knows the second one is a blast. Gamers on the PlayStation 4 who have not yet played the title are in for a huge treat when it is made freely available in January of 2015.
