On its YouTube channel, Apple has uploaded four new tutorial videos that are all about photography and related apps on the iPhone, one of which showcases the capabilities of the iPhone XR and iPhone XS.
Just for a quick summary of what they have to offer, they teach viewers how to search for photos, shoot with Stage Light Mono, shoot with depth control, and choose a Key Photo in Live Photos on the iPhone.
Apple Tutorials: iPhone And Photos
The first deals with searching in the Photos app. Basically, it highlights how users can search by people's names, objects such as sunglasses, or "just about anything."
Meanwhile, the second clip focuses on Stage Light Mono for the iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone X, and iPhone 8 Plus.
Now the third is centered on depth control, a feature that debuted on the iPhone XS and iPhone XR. What it does is it lets users adjust the blur in the background of the subject before they snap a shot.
Last but not least, the fourth shows how to pick a Key Photo in Live Photos in just a few steps.
Thanks to these clips, it should be a cinch to search for photos, shoot with depth control or Stage Light Mono, or choose a Key Photo. Speaking of depth control, Apple also recently uploaded a funny skit that's not just made to get some laughs but also demonstrate how easy it is to add bokeh to photos on the iPhone XS and iPhone XR.
Going Deeper
Of course, these tutorial videos barely scratch the surface of the iPhone's capabilities when it comes to photos, though that's not much of a surprise considering they're only between 27 and 43 seconds long.
At any rate, Apple has a dedicated website that teaches more photography tips and tricks for the iPhone. It includes things like how to shoot slo-mo, edit a portrait selfie, and more.
