Next week will bring about the 2014 International CES, and this is where LG Electronics plans to unveil an Ultra PC and the Tab-Book 2 notebook.
The LG Ultra PC model 13Z940 is a Windows 8.1-powered device that is sporting a super-fast Intel Haswell Core i5 processor and a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display. Furthermore, the device weighs in at less than 1kg, which is little over 2 pounds. LG via its press release stated that there will be two variants of the Ultra PC, one with a 128GB SSD drive, and another with 256GB SSD.
The company did not reveal pricing for the device, so interested parties might just have to wait until CES comes around next week.
LG is also looking to showcase the Tab-Book 2, which is a Windows 8.1 notebook with an 11.6-inch full HD IPS display. The device is powered by an Intel Haswel Core i5 processor, so users should expect a snappy performance and good enough battery life. Additionally, there's a slide-out QWERTY keyboard hidden under the 11.6-inch display, indicating that LG has created a device that was designed to be both a tablet and a laptop.
LG is also expected to showcase the 27-inch All-In-One PC. It's a machine that is powered by Windows 8.1, an Intel Core processor and an Nvidia GeForce GT 740M graphics card. With its picture-in-picture (PIP) feature, users will have the ability to watch TV while browsing the Internet all at the same time. Furthermore, there's also an HDMI jack for connecting to a Blu-Ray player, sound bar, or any other type of entertainment equipment that supports HDMI connection.
The PC products from LG that are scheduled for CES are versatile. There's something here for everyone.
