'Wheel Of Fortune' Contestant Solves Puzzle With Only One Letter And Enters Record Book

We all know how easy it is for nervous or excited guests on Wheel of Fortune to screw up, making for some entertaining television. But this time, one lucky guest on the popular gameshow is joining Wheel of Fortune history for solving a puzzle in an epic guess.

During Friday's episode, contestant Matt Desanto proved how good he is at solving word puzzles. In the "Toss Up" puzzle worth $2,000 with the category "Character," Vanna White gracefully revealed one single vowel, the letter "E."

Within a matter of seconds, Desanto clicks his buzzer and was able to correctly solve "The Lone Ranger" puzzle with 12 blank spaces still on the board.

"I don't want you to cause trouble at home, but I think there's still a connection between you and Vanna," host Pat Sajak, who has become a viral sensation for his quirky one-liners lately, joked.

Even though Desanto said the lucky moment wouldn't happen again, he was on a winning streak the entire show. He solved the puzzle every single round of the game, earning himself a whopping $91,000 before the bonus round.

Desanto made the Wheel of Fortune record book, his $91,000 being the most any contestant has won during the main portion (not counting the bonus round) of the gameshow.
